For what maybe the first time in park history, sled hockey was played this past Sunday at Fenway Park when the Boston Shamrocks Sled Hockey Team played a Green/White intersquad game during the 2017 edition of Frozen Fenway in front of a great crowd of parents, siblings and friends.
According to head coach Nick McCommings, "All [the] Shamrocks played a great game! It was very exciting to see [everyone] applying what [they] have learned and practiced over the past many months. [They] impressed a great many people who have never seen sled hockey played before. The skating was fast paced, passing was impressive and anticipation is getting much better."
The Boston Shamrocks Sled Hockey Program is a totally free program based out of the Allied Memorial Veterans Rink in Everett, Massachusetts. To make all of this happen we ask for your support!
