Sadie
St. Germain Headed to Syracuse University
January 28th, 2010
Wilmington, MA -- The Boston Shamrocks are excited to announce
that Senior Forward Sadie St. Germain (Ashburnham, MA) has
committed to play for Syracuse University next year.
In only their second season of Division
1 play, Syracuse has a winning record, notching recent victories
over traditional powers Princeton University and Cornell University.
Sadie has provided a spark on offense
with 9 goals and 3 assists, while also contributing a solid
defensive zone presence. Co-Head Coach Cherie Hendrickson
says, “Sadie is a player we can always count on for
high-energy play, as she regularly creates offensive chances
for herself and her line mates by her hustle. Her play in
the defensive zone is also solid, and her eagerness to learn
and improve will serve her well at Syracuse the next four
years.”
