Wilmington, MA -- The Boston Shamrocks are pleased to announce
that Senior Forward Vanessa Maines (Boxborough, MA) has committed
to play for Utica College next season. The Utica Pioneers
compete in the ECAC Women’s West Conference, and have
racked up three consecutive seasons of 18 wins on their way
to participating in the Conference Tournament. For the Shamrocks,
Vanessa has led the charge on offense, racking up 12 points
on 8 goals and 4 assists. Assistant Coach Sarah Feldman says,
“Vanessa will contribute to the Pioneers team both on
and off the ice, and we look forward to hearing about her
accomplishments in years to come. Her leadership and work
ethic for the Shamrocks have added a lot to our team dynamic,
and we are excited for her to take advantage of this opportunity.”
