While the Shamrocks’ U19 team is still looking for its first win in JWHL league play this season, the team is making progress, coming away with a tie against the Washington Pride this past weekend in Albany, New York. "I think we proved to ourselves that we can compete, and have success in the league. We’ve made significant progress, and will continue to improve, we just need to put together a full 60 minutes of play," said Head Coach Josh Hechter.

After dropping their opening game to NAHA, the Shamrocks scrapped with Colorado, picking up goals from Sydney Collins (Warwick, RI) Colleen Shouldice (Rutland, VT) and Dakota Woodworth (Carlisle, MA), before losing 6-3. The following evening the Shamrocks battled the Pride, as netminder Maureen Bradlee stood tall and turned aside 27 shots, while Dylan-Mae Caron (Burrillville, RI) picked up the equalizer late in the third. In the final game of the weekend, Madi Litchfield (Williston, VT) kept things close, making 59 saves in a 3-0 loss to NSA.
